A storefront that holds the stone to the light
A custom storefront for a Houston jade atelier: shop by the millimeter, a 3D bangle that holds the stone to the light, and TikTok on the landing page — Shopify runs catalog and checkout behind the scenes.

The problem
One-of-one jade does not belong on a default theme. Size, authenticity, and how the stone takes light had to lead. Shopify still had to run catalog, checkout, and publishing. The proof of wear lived on TikTok, not in product photography.
What we did
- 01
Built a custom storefront wired to Shopify for products, collections, checkout, and blogs.
- 02
Led with size-led navigation and authenticity copy so one-of-one bangles can be found and trusted.
- 03
Added a landing-page 3D bangle animation and native TikTok embeds so the first impression is the stone on a real wrist, not a grid.
Inside the storefront
The storefront does not look like Shopify. Size, light, and proof of wear lead; checkout stays on the platform that already owns inventory.
- 01
Size, not S/M/L
Bangles are cut once. Shop URLs are inner diameter — /shop/bangles/54mm, kid sizes, premium and essential. SKU search for the piece someone already saw on TikTok.
- 02
Hold it to the light
A custom Three.js jade bangle on the landing page. Translucency and idle spin, not a product grid as the first impression.
- 03
On the wrist
Native TikTok embeds, consent-gated, plus Houston atelier video. Wear proof lived on TikTok, so it had to live on the site.
- 04
Trust the stone
Type A, Burma, documented when listed. Authenticity page, piece-level details, and Jade Experience — including a size guide that teaches the measurement, not just a chart.
- 05
Shopify stays in the back
Headless Next.js. Catalog, cart, checkout, blogs, and markets. One-of-ones: quantity capped at one. Checkout is still Shopify.
Shopify still owns checkout, inventory, and publishing. The storefront is the brand. It does not replace Admin.
The atelier

Outcome
A live storefront where one-of-one jade can be browsed by size and trusted on authenticity — with Shopify running checkout and content behind the scenes. The brand leads, the tech stays invisible.
